Speaking No Evil is Ron Marshall – a singer/songwriter who lives in the woods outside of Havelock and claims to have no musical direction whatsoever. He writes about whatever rattles around in his empty head for long enough. This means you’ll hear songs about how the right car can get you into heaven, urban/rural male stereotypes, kissing neighbours, danger on horseback, gold fever, how to write a bad song and more. You’ll also share Ron’s laughter at the circumstances surrounding the songs and other music in his life.

Seeing No Evil is Paul Speight – born in a shotgun shack in the Louisiana bayou. He made his living mostly by wrestling alligators until a bar fight landed him in prison – where he learned to play guitar and the power of the unique music all around him. Since the prison break, he’s been living a quiet, secluded life in the woods outside Marmora in eastern Ontario – but every once and in a while…

Hearing No Evil is Randy Stewart – a Canadian singer/songwriter who has been crusading for years to purge love songs from his performances. His mantra – Sad Songs & Funny Songs ‘I DON’T PLAY LOVE SONGS’ – has become familiar to music fans throughout the region. The lovelorn, lovesick and skeptical can take refuge when Mr. Stewart takes the stage to give them something to sing about – that doesn’t wear its heart on its sleeve.
