Committees serve a critical role in taking our strategic plans, defining tactical plans and identifying ways to implement them in a way that benefits all our members.
Our Governance Committee has developed terms of reference for each of the committees identified in our Bylaws. These terms provide an overview of the mandate of each committee, its structure, staff support, and meeting frequency. The terms of reference were approved by the Board of Directors on June 18th, 2019, with each committee comprised of Directors from our Board and volunteers from our community (both members and non-members of the Downtown District BIA).
Downtown District Committee Meetings
Economic Development Committee: 3rd Wednesday of every month, 10 am-12 pm
Events & Programming Committee: 2nd Tuesday of every month, 10-11 am
Visioning & Strategic Planning Committee: TBA
Knowledge/Information Management Committee: 2nd Wednesday of every month, 6:15-7:15 pm

Retail Team: 2nd Thursday of every Month, 8:30 – 9:30 am
Food & Beverage Team: 2nd Monday of every Month, 10-11 am
