Enchanted Holiday Market sparkles in Downtown Belleville with festive fun starting Nov. 29
Get ready to embrace the holiday spirit at the Enchanted Holiday Market, a magical event that will light up Downtown Belleville over three weekends, beginning Friday, November 29 through Sunday, December 15.
This festive market features holiday activities, live entertainment, horse-drawn carriage rides, and an incredible selection of local artisans, making it the perfect way to kick off your holiday season.
Downtown Belleville retail stores, restaurants and attractions are also gearing up for the holidays, with unique shopping finds and extended shopping hours until Christmas Day.
Throughout the Enchanted Holiday Market dates, several downtown restaurants will host “Kringle Krawl”—offering off-the-menu, holiday-themed hot and cold beverages.
Highlights of Enchanted include performances by Andy Forgie, Belleville Theatre Guild carollers, Spencer Evans, Christmas Belles, and The Mistletones musical act. BJ the DJ will be hosting a dance party every Friday.
Free attractions include horse and carriage rides every Friday, Santa, busker Kobbler Jay, face painting, balloon art, smores, kids’ crafts and a Christmas centrepiece workshop.
A Scavenger Hunt will occur every Saturday at 16 locations downtown, with prizes for the kids and a grand prize to be drawn at 3 p.m.New this year, we are offering free Bingo games every Sunday with amazing prizes.
Weekend 1: Friday, Nov. 29 – Sunday, Dec. 1
Friday, Nov. 29 (5 p.m. – 8 p.m.) – The festivities begin with an official kick-off at Market Square, where the holiday lights will shine bright to mark the start of the season. BJ the DJ will get the dance party started shortly after the opening remarks.
Enjoy free Horse and Carriage Rides from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a pick-up spot at Market Square (McAnnany Street). Take photos with a Roaming Santa, and enjoy the cheerful sounds of Belleville Theatre Guild Carollers singing carols at Market Square and along Front Street.
Warm up with a cup of gourmet hot chocolate (donations accepted), and explore festive vendors from beautifully decorated wooden huts.
Saturday, Nov. 30 (11 a.m. – 3 p.m.) – Join us for a day full of fun with busker “Kobbler Jay”. Bring the kids for free photos with Santa and take your pets along for Pet Photos at 3 p.m. Have fun taking part in a Scavenger Hunt at over a dozen downtown locations, with prizes awarded for completed “passports” from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., with a Grand Prize winner drawn at 3 p.m.
Tap your creativity and craft a free holiday centerpiece workshop by Flowers by Dustins. There will be free smores (while supplies last), free face painting, live entertainment by Spencer Evans from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. and Christmas carols by the Belleville Theatre Guild Carollers.
Sunday, Dec. 1 (11 a.m. – 3 p.m.) – Enjoy more holiday cheer with Santa photos and a free game of Bingo from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m., with prizes to be won, a live performance by Andy Forgie at 2 p.m., and carolers roaming the streets. Shopping for gifts? Don’t miss out on our vendors selling artisan and one-of-a-kind gifts.
Weekend 2: Dec. 6 – Dec. 8
Friday, Dec. 6 (5 p.m. – 8 p.m.) – Friday night’s new attraction includes “The Mistletones” musical act at 6 p.m., as well as BJ the DJ dance party, horse and carriage rides, roaming Santa, gourmet hot chocolate (fundraiser) and roaming carollers.
Saturday, Dec. 7 (11 a.m. – 3 p.m.) – Bring the kids for free face painting, a children’s craft activity by the Belleville Public Library and Your Creative Junction, free smores (until supplies last), and an afternoon of Christmas Belles music and the Belleville Theatre Guild Carollers.
Santa will be at Market Square, with pet photos at 3 p.m. Kids will have a chance to participate in a Scavenger Hunt at over a dozen downtown locations, with prizes awarded at 3 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 8 (11 a.m. – 3 p.m.) – Continue the holiday fun with the Belleville Theatre Guild Carollers, Santa, and another round of free Bingo with amazing prizes from 12 p.m. – 1 p.m. Vendors will offer tasty treats and unique gifts from local artisans.
Weekend 3: Dec. 13 – Dec. 15
Friday, Dec. 13 (5 pm – 8 pm) – The final weekend of the Enchanted Holiday Market kicks off with live music from The Mistletones at 5 p.m., a dance party by BJ the DJ, horse and carriage rides, and a chance to shop local from vendors. Roam the streets with Santa, enjoy hot chocolate, and take in the festive sounds of Belleville Theatre Guild Carollers.
Saturday, Dec. 14 (11 am – 3 pm) – Saturday is packed with free holiday fun for all ages, including face painting, smores, balloon art, Storytime by the Belleville Public Library, scavenger hunt, and live music from Spencer Evans. Another Scavenger Hunt will be hosted at several downtown locations from 12 to 3 pm, with prizes awarded to participants and a Grand Prize drawn at 3 pm.
Sunday, Dec. 15 (11 am – 3 pm) – The final day features the Belleville Theatre Guild Carollers and one last round of Bingo at noon before the holiday market wraps up.
