The Downtown District Marketplace

The Marketplace was born out of an urgent need to help our many businesses survive in the COVID-19 crisis, but it will extend far beyond these strange times, allowing our businesses to sell and our visitors to shop in an online community setting. We encourage you to try the new shopping platform keeping in mind that we are a work in progress. We are so thankful for the support for the Downtown District on social media these past few weeks and we look forward to continuing to offer you something wonderful online.

We want this to be a positive experience

…for both you and our business owners. So please keep these few things in mind while shopping:

• Marketplace delivery is currently hyper-local. If your postal code is listed here, you can choose delivery if a vendor offers it: K8N***, K8P***, K8R***, K0K2B0. This will change in future.
• We are still working out kinks. Please be patient as we all learn new ways to do business
• There are many new features, stores, products, and offerings that we will introduce in the coming weeks.
• Share, Share, Share – Keep coming back and tell your friends and family about it.
• When shopping, check each store’s individual pickup and delivery schedules.
• If you don’t see something ask. One of our sellers may have it or can order it.

If you have questions about products, the businesses are better equipped to answer product inquiries. Find their contact info on their profile page. To get to the profile page click “Shop by Store” in the main navigation and then scroll down to find the shop you have a question for.
