Carved Pumpkin Stroll
Businesses in Downtown Belleville are getting into the festive Fall spirit this weekend with carved pumpkins. Residents and visitors are encouraged to walk through the Downtown core to spot all the pumpkins in the windows.
In total 22 businesses have carved their pumpkins and the pumpkins recently had their photos taken by Christopher Gentile Photography studio in Downtown Belleville, making them look ghoulish and spooky for this Halloween weekend.
As a commercial photographer, Christopher has lended his incredible talents to the BIA and businesses to capture their artistic carvings on a spooky backdrop to help us promote the walking tour.
“This is a great opportunity for families to get out of the house, come downtown, see the pumpkins and browse the businesses,” says Luisa Sorrentino, BIA Executive Director. “It is so important to stay connected as families and a community while staying active and celebrating festivities like Halloween.”
Any visitors to the pumpkins are encouraged to share photos to social media tagging #DowntownBelleville and @DowntownBelleville and sharing which pumpkin is their favourite!
