Archangel Remedy’s RX Pharmacy opens in Downtown Belleville

Archangel Remedy’s RX Pharmacy officially celebrated its Grand Opening on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 15 Victoria Street, Unit 103, in Downtown Belleville.

Owners Celeste Cabildo, Raymund Beltran and Cherry Ronquillo were thrilled to welcome the community into the full-service pharmacy owned and staffed by Filipinos.

Danielle Letersky on behalf of MPP Tyler Allsopp, Kevin Clarke on behalf of MP Chris Malette, Jill Raycroft from the Belleville Chamber of Commerce, Matthew Remenda, Members Account Executive from McKesson Canada and Danielle Hanoman, Executive Director of Belleville Downtown District DBIA were present at the ribbon-cutting.

“We are your locally owned, independent, and family-owned pharmacy offering a personalized touch,” said Cabildo. “Feeling better starts here.”

Archangel Remedy’s RX Pharmacy fills prescriptions, blister packs, medication reviews, minor ailments prescriptions, and waives the $2 Ontario Drug Benefit co-payment fee.

Cabildo was trained as a pharmacist in the Philippines and was sponsored by Zellers Pharmacy to study at the University of British Columbia, where she graduated in 2004.

Cabildo moved to Belleville in 2009 when she was offered employment at Shoppers Drug Mart, and to live close to her brother, pharmacy co-owner Raymund Beltran, who works as a pharmacist at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.

“It’s important to me…family matters. And (Belleville) is a neat community. There’s a feeling of ‘I can raise my family here’,” said Cabildo.

Cabildo is also a certified diabetes educator, and offers personalized diabetes consultations at the pharmacy.

“We also dispense medications for alcohol and substance abuse, hepatitis C, and smoking cessation.  People (in Belleville) need a clinic to stabilize. When they’re stabilized, it improves their quality of life,” said Beltran during the grand opening.

Beltran said that they named their pharmacy after archangels Gabriel, Raphael and Michael. “We were taught and raised by our parents and grandparents to be devoted Catholics,” said Beltran.
