New Lego and Mini-golf store opens in Downtown Belleville

2 Many Bricks—a unique storefront combining a Lego shop and mini-golf—officially celebrated its Grand Opening on Friday, Aug. 15, 2025, at 259 Front St. in Downtown Belleville.

Mayor Neil Ellis and Councillor Garnet Thompson, Danielle Letersky on behalf of MPP Tyler Allsopp, Lisa Comerford from the Belleville Chamber of Commerce, Victoria Watts from the City of Belleville and Matt Leonard, Chair of the DBIA were present at the ribbon-cutting. 

Derick Weeks, owner of 2 Many Bricks, took his severance pay and turned his passion for Lego into a storefront in 2022, first at a North Front Street location, then to Bay View Mall, and most recently at 104 Station St.

Weeks chose Downtown Belleville as the new home for 2 Many Bricks because it offered the combination of visibility, affordability, and room to grow. 

“There’s a lot more foot traffic downtown than where I was before. There is also room for expansion down the road,” he said about the 1,100 square ft. storefront.

Aside from selling new and used Lego sets, Weeks also installed a nine-hole dinosaur-themed mini-golf in his store. “I’ve had the stuff (for the mini-golf) bought and paid for—the putters, balls, cups, flags—for a year and a half.”

Weeks’ background as an architectural technician came in handy while planning and building the mini-golf. A friend of his donated the dinosaurs, while the carpet was sourced locally. 

The mini golf and the store’s curated Lego inventory, which includes retired and hard-to-find sets sourced from both local and trusted suppliers, reflects Week’s ambition to offer the “best selection of Lego between Toronto and Montreal”.

“We’ve got Ninjago, Star Wars, city sets, Minecraft, and Lego friends. We have everything,” he said.

2 Many Bricks will be open Tuesdays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Wednesdays to Sundays from noon until 9 p.m.  The mini-golf costs $9 per game, with special pricing on Lego sets and mini-golf on opening day.
