Enjoy the very popular BDIA event "Savour the Chill". Downtown restaurants will once again be offering up their delicious soup creations for $2.00 a sample.
Come enjoy picnic tables throughout the downtown, free horse drawn carriage rides and hot chocolate at the BDIA office too! Make sure you bring your non-perishable items for Gleaners food bank to the BDIA office (267 Front St) to receive an EXTRA ballot.
This year vote for your favourite soup AND favourite host location (does NOT have to be a soup participant!), and fill out a ballot for 2 free DocFest tickets to be delivered to the Belleville Public Library. Children's activities will also be taking place at the Library at 10:30 a.m.
Grab your soups at:
Chilangos - Pozole - Hearty Pork and Hominy Soup with lettuce, onions, oregano, radishes and lime (GF, DF)
Café E - Cabbage Roll Soup (GF)
Jim's Pizzeria - Minestrone Pesto (DF, V)
Mr. Zed's - Lentil and Carrot Soup with Chicken (DF)
Remember to visit ALL your favourite businesses throughout the downtown tomorrow as MANY of them are offering specials and treats as well. Businesses that have specials going on include (but are not limited to): Kate's Kitchen, That Special Touch, Reiki on Wheels, and All Good Things Home Shop.
The BDIA’s role is to oversee the improvement, beautification and maintenance of municipally owned land, buildings and structures in the area beyond that provided by the municipality generally, and to promote the area as a business and shopping area.
BDIA Vision: Loving life in our village, the heart of Belleville.
